We offer a structured online training programme to strengthen digital competencies in 3D planning and BIM methodology within the Green Industry. The training is designed to provide both foundational knowledge and practical guidance, tailored to the specific needs of landscape architecture. The content of the four half-day training sessions is structured as follows:
- Introduction to digital planning and building culture in the Green Industry
- Overview of BIM processes, tools, and terminology relevant to landscape planning and green infrastructure
- Practical implementation strategies for integrating BIM into small- and medium-sized companies in the sector – (insights from peer landscape architects)
- Presentation and discussion of results from previous Austrian research projects Green BIM and Green BIM 2 as transferable knowledge foundations

The training sessions aim to equip professionals and organisations with the knowledge and tools to actively engage with digital transformation processes in the Green Industry and to foster cross-national knowledge exchange in the field of BIM and 3D landscape planning.
