The digiLARCH project is a collaborative networking and vocational training project focusing on landscape planning practitioners & supporters from Austria, Germany and Finland. The project aims to advance digitisation in the field of landscape architecture and planning, fostering transnational cooperation and knowledge exchange among professionals and practitioners. As part of the project, the digiLARCH network is formed - a transnational network for landscape architects and planning professionals working with or interested in 3D planning and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

As part of this initiative, we are pleased to invite you to the first session of our new international roundtable series on digital tools in landscape architecture:

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER?

• Time: 3 p.m.
• Duration: 90 minutes
• Format: Online via zoom (follow registration)

In this opening roundtable, colleagues from Austria, Finland, and Germany will share short impulse talks on the current state of BIM in landscape architecture in their respective countries. This will be followed by an open discussion, shaped by live input from all participants.

Our goal is to create a space for honest, practice-oriented exchange across borders – to compare approaches, identify challenges, and learn from each other.

This session marks the beginning of a series of international roundtables, each focusing on different aspects of digital transformation in landscape architecture.

Additionally, we will offer introductory BIM training sessions in autumn 2025 for all landscaping professionals, interested in learning more about Building Information Modeling and its application in planning and design.
